FACTS ABOUT THE ATLANTA MEETUP
This group hosted by Fathers Incorporated and Furthering Fathering. We created the group for Dads...Uncles...Grandfathers....Big Brothers...Coaches....Mentors.....and other Male Caretakers interested in engaging in reading and literacy activities with their children ages Pre-K - 8 Grade. Some meet ups will be for dads to volunteer reading to children; other meet-ups will encourage Dads to bring their children to activities that will take place at libraries or book signings, etc. We are excited about the relationships we are building and looking forward to hearing from you and more excited about meeting ALL OF YOU!

We don't care what you look like, where you from, what you do or don't do for a living. The only qualification we need is that your are a loving, dedicated and committed father/male caretaker.

Like many 501(c)3 organizations; Fathers Incorporated has continued to engage in its mission even when the resources have not allow us to function at scale. It takes support from our partners, friends and admirers to help us continue to serve our communities and build families that strengthens the capacity of dads to raise children in safe and loving homes.

HOST OR ATTEND A FATHERHOOD FORUM
One of the hardest things for men to do is communication with each other. While we can be burden with issues, concerns and even successes, often we are guarded in how we express our feelings or thoughts with others. However, when are trusting of other meant; communication becomes an answer to address our deepest issues and concerns.

Furthering Fathering currently host Fatherhood Forums in the College Park community. Periodically they are conducted in barbershops, meeting and other requested locations. If you would like to host a forum; click the button to the left and you will be contacted by our staff to plan a forum near you.
